Our Anchor In This Chaotic World

My husband and I have spent many hours fishing on beautiful Lake Palestine in Northeast Texas where we live. Over the more than 20 years living here, we have mapped out our favorite places to catch catfish, crappie, and bass. In some of the bays, we can simply tie our boat to remnants of trees still standing, making perfect resting places, for the many species of birds which live on and around the lake. But when conditions call for us to be out of the bays, onto the open areas of the lake, we need an anchor to keep of from drifting in the deeper water.

We are certainly in deep water in regards to the directions we are being pulled in this political world. Chaos and confusion are the methods some are using to hopefully reel us in, and gain power over us permanently. They have no real substantive answers to the issues which affect our lives. They want us to believe, if we just depend on them, they have a way to solve all our problems and provide all our needs. Moreover, they want to destroy our relationship with God in the process. Those of us of faith are targeted as evil in order to discourage any influence on others who might be looking for the real answers from the only One who can provide all our needs.

The totalitarian attitude of the current administration has decided in order to accomplish a complete destruction of our Constitution and destroy America, which they hate, the middle class must disappear as they flood our nation with refugees, who will look upon them as heroes and insure they keep control over all forever.

We must take a stand and not drift with the winds of doubt and contention. Our God is an awesome God. He has been the guiding light of this country and the hope on which we depend. Yet, He has been under attack and run out of public places including our schools and any governmental body.

It is time for the biggest revival this world has ever seen. All of us must turn to God and His Word, enlist His help, and turn the direction America is headed back to Him. For there is an effort around the world to make everyone the same. No diversity will be tolerated. An evil force is behind it all.

In several countries around the world, especially in the middle east, Christians must hide. It will be that way here soon if we are not careful. But we have a heavenly host to call on to save us from this fate. Everyday I ask the Lord to send His angels to watch over my ducks and ducklings to keep them safe from predators. It is time for all of us to pray for the Lord to send His angels to protect Christians here and around the world from predators as well.

Malachi 3: 6-7 says “I the Lord do not change. So you, O descendants of Jacob, are not destroyed. 7) Ever since the time of your forefathers you have turned away from my decrees and have not kept them. Return to me, and I will return to you,” says the Lord Almighty.”

We can’t be OCOS (only Christians on Sunday). We must immerse ourselves in meditation on His Word and turn to Him and surrender our lives completely in order to bring Him back. He is the only one who has the power to save us from this disastrous path. We can no longer afford to be complacent. We must daily join in prayer from “sea to shining sea” to avoid the imminent calamity of errors which directs our course of destruction.

I have been posting “Scriptures of Today” recently to do my part, and there are many others who are encouraging one another through scripture, song, praise and devotion. It will take every one of us pleading with the Lord to save this country and not let her be destroyed, but let her return to the beacon of hope for the rest of the world.
