Is it too late?

Is it about politics, religion or war

The chattering of squirrels

In a game of exhortation supreme

Calling lemmings to follow ?

Is respectability lost

Amid minds preening themselves

While hearing only clattering

When opposing voices disagree?

Can there be no marriage,

No union on any echelon,

Since we lost Lennon

Our beloved John?

He imagined and asked us to

Imagine with him…..Peace.

It seems we’ve forgotten to say the least.

Who is out there…..anyone?

Who is out there to say

Enough is enough?

Our house is divided

Can it still stand?

Will civil war breakout again?

I implore we all take a long hard look

Start with ourselves

Reach out with love

Find common ground

Plant seeds of communion

Live together again.

Is it too late?

  1. Hey Phyllis, good mornin to you up there in the far north. 🤠

Hey…ain’t it John Lennon who also told us to imagine there’s no heaven and no God?

He ain’t the person I’d be citing as an advice-giver.

(I ain’t hollerin at you. I’m just mentioning that in a way of niceness to you).

    Keep seeking truth sister. 😀🙏

      1. Hi Phyllis, I agree. God uses all sorts of people to communicate with us.
It was just Lennon’s specific anti God beliefs that I found suprising as someone a Christian would reference as being insightful.

But do whatever you feel led to do sister, I was just sharing my thoughts.
        😀

      2. Always interested in what you have to say, Lee. If I stand frozen in my own interpretations, I risk being like the Sadducees and Pharisees who crucified our Lord. The Holy Spirit is alive and well in me. If I operate on any other measure I will fail my blessed Savior. We cannot walk our genuine walk of faith without listening to what is true from the One who lives within us.
